This is an oil painting on stretched canvas, and measures slightly larger than 9 x 12 inches. It is stretched but not framed, and depicts a woman from the Ixil town of Nebaj in simple daily dress. It is titlede in the lower left corner "Nebaj A. O." The initials A. O. may be the initials of the artist, who is not known to me. This painting was recently purchased in Santiago Atitlan, and is in Very Good condition.
