About Us

In business since 1978, we have had a retail store at the same location in Madison, Wisconsin. Our goal is to provide an interesting and varied selection for both serious and novice collectors. While our particular emphasis is Latin America, we also offer textiles from Africa and Indonesia. Particular emphasis is on Maya textiles from Guatemala -- huipils, tzutes, women's skirts or cortes, men's shirts and other clothing.  If you are looking for anything in particular, please ask!

In addition to the items listed above, we also have a wide selection of genuine Oriental carpets, mostly from Iran; over 5000 used and rare books; fine art and oil paintings from the United States and Europe; and an eclectic collection of many other items.
