This is an oil painting on stretched canvas, and measures approximately 8 x 5 inches. It is stretched but not framed, and shows Lake Atitlan at sunset, a woman standing in the foreground. It is not signed but is definitely the work of Lorenzo Gonzalez Mendoza, a resident of Solola whose paintings are sold in art galleries around Lake Atitlan. Lorenzo is a highly respected contemporary painter, whose son Otto also paints. This painting was recently purchased in Santiago Atitlan, and is in Very Good condition.
