Contemporary Indonesian ikat textile measuring 22 inches wide and 38 inches long
This contemporary Indonesian ikat was woven on the island of Lombok. It was hand woven and measures 22 inches wide and 38 inches long. The technique used is warp-faced plain weave. The close-up picture below is of one end. This is a new textile showing minimal wear.
