Magical realism is a school of Ecuadorean painting whose founder and major proponent was the painter Gonzalo Endara Crow (1936-1996). Frederico Fuentes was a student and is a follower of Endara Crow. He currently paints and sells his paintings in Quito. He paints in the style of Endara Crow, and many of his paintings reflect themes taken from Endara Crow's paintings.

This painting was purchased directly from the artist. It is painted with acrylic on canvas, and is stretched but not framed. Size is 17.7 x 23.6 inches. It is signed lower right "F Fuentes 05", and was painted early in 2005. Extra shipping charge is for the large shipping size
