Felipe Ujpan Mendoza -- Fiesta de Globos

Felipe Ujpan Mendoza lives in the Tzutujil Maya village of San Juan la Laguna on Lake Atitlan. He has exhibited widely in Guatemala, and is represented in the UNESCO book titled Arte Naif -- Guatemala, published in 1998. Two different paintings by Felipe Ujpan are pictured in that book.

The painting was purchased from the artist in his gallery in San Juan la Laguna, in 2020. This is a large painting and will be mailed rolled in a hard tube
