Product Description
Large older Child's hat from Santiago Sacatepequez
This child's gorra was woven in a single panel on a backstrap loom. The person from whom I bought it told me it was from Santiago Sacatepequez, located near the ancient colonial capital of Antigua in southern Guatemala. It measures 8.5 inches wide and 25.5 inches long. Both ends are selvage-finished. Condition is Very Good, with some light soil and a few pulled threads. This textile was purchased in 1999.
