Child's Gorra #14

Child's hat from San Lucas Toliman
This child's gorra was woven in a single panel on a backstrap loom. The person from whom I bought it told me it was from San Lucas Toliman, located on Lake Atitlan in southern Guatemala. It measures 8.5 inches wide and 17 inches long. Both ends are selvage-finished. Condition is Very Good, with some light soil and a few pulled threads. This textile was purchased in 2006.
