This is a large and heavily illustrated book published in 1997 by the Getty Conservation Institute in Los Angeles. This is a comprehensive survey of Oaxacan textiles and their conservation. Covered are the textiles and details of their methods and materials of construction. Emphasis is also placed on textile conservation, with the Getty acting as consultant in the conservation efforts covering the large collection of the Regional Museum of Oaxaca.
