Antonio Vasquez Yojcom lives and works in his home gallery in San Juan la Laguna, on Lake Atitlan. He studied with the famous artist Pedro Rafael Gonzalez Chavajay, and then started a family and began to work on his own. His paintings are sold in the galleries in Santiago Atitlan and Panajachel.

It depicts a traditional Mayan market scene, perhaps in Chichicastenango or Santiago Atitlan. The first picture is of the entire painting, then follow pictures of each half.  Slight differences in color are different lighting conditions.
