Oil painting on canvas measuring 12 x 27 inches, stretched but not framed. Signed "Jose Antonio pur G." in lower center, titled "Cortadores de Atitlan" in lower left center. Coffee  and cotton are two of the main agricultural exports of Guatemala, and the most important agricultural products of the Lake Atitlan region. In this painting we see many of the aspects of the coffee and cotton harvest being performed by the native Maya people. The last two images below show the two halves of the painting in closer perspective.
