Oil painting on canvas measuring 11 x 27 inches, stretched but not framed. Signed "J. Antonio pur G." in the lower right corner, titled "Harvesters of Cafe Atitlan" in lower left center. Coffee is one of the main agricultural exports of Guatemala, and the most important agricultural product of the Lake Atitlan region. In this painting we see many of the aspects of the coffee harvest being performed by the native Maya people. The last two images below show the two halves of the painting in closer perspective.
