This is a softcover museum exhibition catalog published in 1996 by the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum in Chicago. The exhibition then travelled to the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City 1996-1997. The essay "Regarding Modern Mexican Painting -- Maria Izquierdo" was written by Prof. Luis-Martin Lozano and the introductory essay "A Nostalgic Melancholy" was written by Dr. Teresa del Conde. Items included are paintings from the entire span of Izquierdo's artistic career. Text is in English and Spanish. There are many illustrations, both in color and black-and-white.
This is a NEW book with very light edge rubbing from shelving.
