Mola with parrot and 2 dogs?
The Kuna Indians live on the San Blas Islands in the Caribbean between Panama and Colombia. The women sew these decorative panels by hand, and they are traditionally used for the front and back panels of a blouse. They use a combination of cutwork, applique and overlay techniques to give a three-dimensional, multi-layer panel. Sometimes a small amount of embroidery is used to finish the panel with some small details.
