This painting was recently painted by the artist Adonias Mendoza Sisay. Adonias lives in Santiago, and the painting shows the Catholic cathedral that forms the center of this Tzutujil Maya town. The style and costume of the painting are from about 1960.

Oil painting on canvas measuring 31 x 23 inches, stretched and framed with a simple black metal frame. Signed lower right. The 2 scans which follow are close-up images.
