Antique wood drinking bowl kero with two yoked oxen
This antique Bolivian wood kero ceremonial drinking vessel was hand-carved from one piece of wood. I understand that this is a wedding vessel, used for drinking the local chicha beer. Dimensions are 8.5 inches across the top at the widest place at the handles, tapering to 6 inches across the bottom, and 2.6 inches depth. Old greasy dirty patina is still present. There are numerous cracks that have been repaired with metal crimps and filler. See the photos below for details.
