These decorative headbands are woven for use by Quechua and Aymara women, often worn under their traditional hat. They are all handwoven of handspun wool on a narrow belt loom. This particular wincha is all llama wool and measures 3 inches wide and about 14.6 inches in overall length. The length not including the braided end is 12 inches.

Condition is Very Good, with some signs of light use, especially along the edges, and with some light soil. One or two of the decorative glass beads along the edge may be missing.
