This is an all wool woman's garment, beautiful and quite nicely woven. It is made from handspun wool, hand-woven on an Andean loom. The two panels are sewn together with a simple zig-zag stitch. The two panels are almost the same, as can be seen in the first photo below. The dyes appear to be almost entirely vegetal, though there could also be some synthetic dyes present. I would guess the date to be ca. 1960. The foundation is a very mellow variegated dark brown wool. There is no tubular edging, and all edges are selvage finished.

Condition is Very Good, light overall wear with no holes or repairs noticeable, light soil possible. Corners are slightly curled, which is normal
