This is an all wool woman's garment. It is made from handspun wool, hand-woven on an Andean loom. The weaving is quite fine and tight in character. The two panels are sewn together with a simple zig-zag stitch. The two panels are the same, as can be seen in the first photo below. The dyes appear to be largely vegetal, with some synthetic dyes possible. I would guess the date to be ca. 1960. There is no tubular edging, the edges are all selvage finished.
Condition is Very Good, light wear and light soil possible. There is significant curl to all four corners. Notice the small 1.5 inch damage to the edging, shown in the bottom photo.
