The women of the village of Nahuala make the clothing of their menfolk in the same way they make their own clothing. The striped fabric is usually hand-loomed on a backstrap loom, and the decorated pieces which make up the collar and cuffs are handmade. All are then cut and sewn into a western-style shirt, which is usually closed up the front with commercial. This shirt, however, is made from commercial fabric. The collar is decorated with a hand-stitched design.
