Spoons Carved Coconut Shell from Timor

Spoons Carved Coconut Shell from Timor

Manufacturer: N/A
SKU: I-A-1
Price: $25.00
This item is in stock
Quantity:
I am beginning to list a number of carved Indonesian artifacts which I bought in Bali and Java and Sumatra on a trip in the mid-1990s. They are of various materials and styles, but all are quite nicely done, in the old style if not actually antique.

This is a group of carved coconut shell spoons from the island of Timor, I bought them at an "antique" shop in Ubud, Bali. I believe them to be older, but cannot verify that information. Price is per spoon. Size ranges from 4 to 6.7 inches total length. On orders for multiple spoons, I will endeavor to choose different styles where possible, or email with preferences. Note that the largest spoon, the second one down on the right, has the tip of the handle broken off. All others seem to be without damage. Price is per spoon, there are 10 total.
