This post-1980 huipil was hand-woven on a backstrap loom. The foundation fabric is cotton. The designs were added during the weaving process using the technique of supplemental-weft brocading, and they are of entirely cotton threads. The huipil consists of two panels, seemed together at the joints. Two of the lower edges are very nicely selvage-finished, two are hemmed. The sides of the garment are sewn together to complete the usable garment.

Measurements: 28 inches wide, 24 inches long

Condition: Very Good, lightly used, a few loose threads. Some light soil also possible.
