Woman's cotton shawl with indigo stripes
This rebozo or shawl was woven in San Andres Semetabaj for use by its women. It is 100% cotton and the stripes are dyed indigo. Dimensions are 17 inches wide and approximately 46 inches long, including the simple warp fringes. It dates from post-1980, and is in very good though used condition. There is thus some wear and some light soil. The photo shows half of the item, the other half is identical.
