Product Description

Nice older shawl with indigo stripes and braided ends
This rebozo or shawl was woven in San Andres Semetabaj for use by its women. It was hand woven on a backstrap loom, is 100% cotton and the stripes are dyed indigo. Dimensions are 21 inches wide and approximately 60 inches long, including the fringe. It dates from post-1980, and is in very good though used condition. There is thus some wear and some light soil. The second photo below shows the fringe and braiding, which is on both ends.
