Coin silver earrings with red glass stone and etching
These earrings are probably coin silver (about 800 fine) since they are not marked, and are somewhat older. There is some etching around the larger loop, and on the twin quetzal bird figures in the center. These earrings are of heavier gauge silver than some of the others. Maximum diameter is 1.3 inches, total length top of ear wire to bottom is 1.9 inches. Photographs show both sides.
Please be aware that these earrings are handmade. The ear wire is somewhat larger than for commercially produced examples, and there is a handmade closure hook at the end of the ear wire. For these reasons, a somewhat larger ear pierce is necessary.
