This hardcover book was published in 1981 by the National Geographic Society. Both ancient and contemporary Aztec and related Mexican indigenous cultures are discussed, using the typical National Geographic easy-to-understand writing style and numerous colorful photographs. Though an introduction to Indigenous Mexican culture, this book is quite informative and provides useful information about these native peoples during the 1970s.
