This is a softcover book which is a catalog of the E. B. Ricketson Collection of Guatemalan Textiles at the Taylor Museum, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. The catalog was published in 1984 and is in NEW condition. There may be very slight rubbing to the cover from storage. This collection was assembled mostly during the 1920s and 1930s, and consists of about 300 individual pieces from 70 different villages. Most items are pictured and described, and there is supplementary text on the history and context of Mayan weaving. This book is very useful for identifying early weaving styles.
