This is a softcover book which catalogs an exhibit of some of the Gueatmalan huipiles in the collection of the Field Museum of Chicago. The catalog was published in 2006 and is in NEW condition. This collection was assembled from 1893 to 1995, and consists of about 145 individual pieces from 10 different villages. Some of the items are pictured and described, and there is supplementary text on the history and context of Mayan weaving. This book is very useful for identifying early weaving styles.
